A New Chapter for Coco Northeast: Designed for How People Actually Work

A New Chapter for Coco Northeast: Designed for How People Actually Work

Work has changed.

Not in small ways—but fundamentally.

Teams are smaller. Schedules are more flexible. Focus time matters more. And at the same time, connection and collaboration haven’t gone away, they’ve just evolved.

The way people work today simply doesn’t match how most workspaces were originally designed.

That’s why we’re reimagining Coco Northeast.

Why we’re making this change

Over time, we started to notice a gap between how our space was designed and how our members were actually using it.

The demand wasn’t for larger, static offices anymore.

It was for:

  • More flexibility
  • More privacy when needed
  • Better spaces for calls and focused work
  • More access to meeting rooms for collaboration
  • A more comfortable, elevated daily experience

Some parts of the space were starting to feel limited not because they weren’t good, but because the way people work has moved forward.

This renovation is about catching up to that reality and building in maximum flexibility for what comes next.

What we want the new Coco Northeast to feel like

When you walk into the new space, it shouldn’t just look different.

It should feel different.

We’re designing for a feeling of:

    • Calm and focus when you need to get work done
    • Energy and connection when you want to collaborate
    • Comfort and ease throughout your entire day
    • A space where everything simply flows better
  • Lighter, brighter spaces throughout

This isn’t just a visual upgrade it’s an experience upgrade.

A workspace designed for how people actually work

At its core, the new Coco Northeast is built around a simple idea:

Workspaces should adapt to people not the other way around.

That shows up in several key ways:

  • More private offices with smaller footprints and better flexibility
  • A layout that separates focus areas from collaboration zones
  • Dedicated meeting zone area designed to support real team use, and room sizes meeting the highest demand needs
  • A more intentional flow between work, meeting, and community spaces

Everything is being redesigned with purpose.

What you’ll notice right away

Some changes will be immediately visible.

  • A brighter, more elevated look and feel
  • The history of Coco and the building construction honored and enhanced
  • A first-floor hospitality experience that welcomes you into the space
  • A layout that feels more intuitive and easier to move through
  • A stronger connection between shared spaces and work areas

The goal is simple: you should walk in and instantly feel like this space works for you.

What you might not notice but will feel

Other improvements are more subtle but just as important.

  • Improved acoustics that make the space quieter and easier to focus
  • Better lighting throughout the entire environment
  • Improved HVAC creating a consistent, comfortable working environment
  • Smoother transitions between different types of spaces
  • A more cohesive, intentional experience from end to end

These are the things that shape your day, even if you don’t consciously think about them.

Built around hospitality, not just workspace

One of the biggest shifts in this renovation is how we think about the experience itself.

This isn’t just a place to work.

It’s a hospitality-driven workspace designed to take care of you throughout your day.

That means:

  • Thoughtful design
  • Better shared spaces
  • A more welcoming, human-centered environment
  • An experience that feels intentional, not transactional

Because where you work should support you—not drain you.

What this means for members

For current members, this is about making something you already value even better.

  • More access to meeting space
  • A more functional layout
  • A better day-to-day experience
  • A space that evolves with how you work

For future members, it’s an opportunity to access a premium workspace without committing to a traditional office.

A space that offers:

  • Flexibility
  • Professionalism
  • Community
  • And a better way to work

Looking ahead

This renovation is a step forward not just for Coco Northeast, but for how we think about workspace overall.

As our Sales Manager, Gabriela put it:

“This renovation allows us to better support how our members actually work today, more flexibility, more privacy when they need it, and more opportunities to come together as a community.”

We’re building something more aligned, more intentional, and more human.

And we’re excited for you to experience it.
