Money is frequently a source of marital conflicts…but is money the core problem…or is it something else? Perhaps, money is the fuel that propels conflict, but the underlying problem is our inability to communicate about money in a healthy, productive way. After all, money is important. The stress, anxiety, or guilt that often surrounds how we manage money is real. How we talk or don’t talk with each other about our money dilemmas may be the problem. Our communication patterns were learned as children. Sometimes, those patterns no longer serve us as adults.
