Community Manager
About this role
The Community Manager has a very unique and important role on the Coco team. They are primarily responsible for the operational management of our team and spaces at Coco, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness, community engagement and membership retention. The role reports to the CEO, while directing and managing a small team of part-time staff who offer operational support and staffing as needed.
Top Areas of Accountability
- Ownership of all location operations, including staffing plans, training and managing of all Community Hosts and high space cleanliness standards
- Provide a hassle-free community space, allowing our customers to focus on their business
- Know our members deeply. Anticipate their needs in advance and find organic opportunities to deepen their relationship with Coco
- Coordinate with partners and vendors as needed to ensure flawless operation of our spaces
- Support the growth of our community through delivery of excellent customer service, retaining members and growing coworking and sharing growth opportunities identified with the Sales Manager
Specific Responsibilities:
- Be physically present at a Coco location during business hours, flexing the schedule as needed for down time and to support the locations as needed.
- Ensure locations are opened and closed on time and staffed completely during business hours. Manning the front desks and accounting for all guests and access members accurately to capture all revenue.
- Staffing the front desk at least 25 hours per week and filling in other staffing gaps as needed
- Onboarding new members to ensure their first 30 day experience is world-class
- Collaborate on community/space events with Marketing and Sales to ensure promotion and execution
- Recruiting, interviewing and hiring recommendations for Community Hosts as directed
- Directly lead and manage all Community Hosts covering our business hours as well as afterhours events and meetings as needed and sold.
- Provide clients with excellent experience and facilitate client retention by building strong customer-relationships.
- Ensure alignment of our location team to ensure our spaces meet or exceed our standards, conduct audits and collaborate with the Space Manager.
- Work with the location staff to complete exceptional coworking tours and identifying expansion and upgrade opportunities to share with the Sales Manager to help us grow our Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
